1BOG is the solar group discount company -- a free service for Long Island Residents who are intersted in solar power. 1BOG does the hard work of finding and vetting local solar installers, and by using the power of collective bargaining, negotiates an average of 15% of the cost of solar installation. 1BOG also provides a trusted resources for questions about the process of buying solar, cost information including rebates and tax credits, and anything else related to solar power. 1BOG has an online solar calculator (http://1bog.org/solar-estimate/) that can be used to quickly estimate the cost of solar panels for your home.
